Dr. Bala served as the Executive Director of Corporate Services at the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) from 2017 until August 2023. His appointment to this role was made by His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR. Subsequently, he assumed his current position as the Deputy Governor of the Corporate Services Directorate at the Central Bank of Nigeria, an appointment granted by His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
